Need a document notarized? It’s always a good idea to call ahead Monday-Friday to make sure our notary is available. No fee.
We have a DIY copier and charge 10 cents per page for black and white printing/copies, and 25 cents per page for color printing/copies. There is no charge for scanning to your own USB flash drive. Staff will assist if they are not otherwise occupied.
Please note: we do not accept credit/debit cards, only cash and checks.
We have 5 computers for public use and free wifi for your mobile devices. Wifi extends to the gazebo outside and the parking lot to the side of the building. If you need wifi at home, use your library card to check out one of our 10 mobile hotspots available behind the circulation desk.
Abbie is available on Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm to assist you with your devices. No appointment necessary, but you may have to wait if there’s a patron ahead of you.
Unfortunately, we cannot take book donations due to lack of storage space. Please do not leave boxes or bags of books in the hallway or outside. Donations of old magazines are also not appreciated. If you only have 1 or 2 items to donate, you may ask the director if the library will take them. You might also check other local libraries’ policies regarding book donations (Germantown, Red Hook, Starr Library, Pine Plains, Rhinecliff), as they may be better equipped to accept your donations. Thank you in advance for taking these requests into consideration.
