On Monday, February 18, 2019, the Tivoli Library will be closed for Presidents’ Day. We reopen on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
The Tivoli Free Library provides quality programs and materials to the people of Tivoli and surrounding communities. Situated in the historic Watts dePeyster Firemans Hall, in the heart of the village, the library is just west of the shops and restaurants. The building is also home to the Village offices and court.
Olana Museum House Tour Pass
Available at Circulation Desk – Please call to check availability; first come, first served! At this time, the pass can not be reserved. Olana is a 250-acre artist-designed landscape with a Persian inspired house at its summit, embracing unrivaled panoramic views of the vast Hudson River Valley. Reservations for house tours tours only are highly recommended and can be made by calling Olana at (518) 828-0135 (also noted on the back of the pass). The pass is checked out for four days and must be returned to the Tivoli Free Library. You need a valid Mid Hudson System Library Card in good standing. Call or stop by for more info!
Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum Pass
Available at Circulation Desk – Please call to check availability; first come, first served! The pass can not be reserved. We have a single pass that allows 2 adults and their children under the age of 18 from one household. It does not cover multiple families during the same visit. The pass is checked out for 4 days and must be returned to the Tivoli Free Library ONLY!! You need a valid Mid Hudson System Library card in good standing. Do not return in the drop box. If the pass is not returned, a replacement fee of $250 will be charged. Call or stop by for more info! Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum (MHCM): is the ideal destination for families with young children. With exhibits that focus on early literacy, art, early STEM, health and the local community, the museum welcomes over 75,000 visitors each year.
